Kara Braciale is based in Northern Virginia. She received her MFA in Studio Arts from the University of Illinois in Chicago and her BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago. She was the co-founder and co-director of Proof Gallery, a not-for-profit project space in South Boston which presented shows from 2007 - 2018. She teaches at The Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at George Washington University.
